The Bonnaroo Arch

If there’s one thing that has always been a part of Alex and my relationship it’s that we are always surprising each other with something. With that said, he surprised me with a, very, early birthday gift – Roadtrip to Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Tennessee!

We drove for four days, went through eight states, visited both our cousins in Kansas City and St. Louis, enjoyed four days of our favorite bands, camped for seven sweaty nights, explored Nashville, and volunteered for two long and hot days. Going to a music festival together had always been on our list and I can’t wait for the next one we decide to do. It’s been one amazing and crazy exhausting trip!

Kansas, where you find anything to attract attention away from the flat corn fields like the World’s Largest Easel holding a giant Van Gogh painting.

  1. It looks like you kids had a great time traveling cross country. Were planning a cross country trip from Arizona to Washington DC come September. I sure hope you have a chance to come to Arizona and visit your Grandma.
